Day 1 Arrival in Arusha

You will be picked up from the airport by a Kanga representative and driven to your accommodation in Arusha where you will stay overnight.

Travel time approx:45min-1hrs

Day 2 Tarangire National Park

Your safari guide will pick you from your accommodation in Arusha and drive you to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2 hours). Tarangire is best known for its elephant families, savannah, iconic baobab trees, seasonal swamps and the life-giving Tarangire River. Animals gather at the river and giraffes, bushbuck and hartebeest are often seen. The Park is also home to buffalo, zebra and wildebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators such as lions and leopards. From the open roof of the vehicle you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the wildlife.

After a full day in the Park, we will drive to the campsite where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater

Rise and shine! It is an early departure to the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once you have reached the crater rim, you will drive down a steep track into the 600 m deep caldera to see a range of animals and birds. The caldera (collapsed volcano) is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) and more than 500 species of birds.
After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch in the crater, you will  then go to your lodge inside Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti N.P

Breakfast at Lodge
After breakfast departure for Serengeti National Park. Serengeti N.P  is considered one of the most iconic and spectacular wildlife reserves in the world and is a popular destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers from all over the globe. On your way to the park have picnic Lunch and there after proceed to your lodge as you embark on a game drive until the evening comes where you will check in at your luxury camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5  Serengeti N.P

After breakfst embark for a whole day game drive in Serengeti National Park in search for the wildebeest migration and the BIG FIVE. Serengeti  game drives  is an unforgettable experience that will leave you in awe of the natural beauty and wildlife of Tanzania. Have your picnic lunch while still on the game drive.In the evening drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6  Serengeti N.P – Arusha

Breakfast at your Lodge

After breakfast embark on a morning game drive slowly as you exit the park. (OPT of visiting Maasai Village, or Mto wa mbu Cultural tour)
have picnic lunch OR (Hot local lunch at Mto wa Mbu OPT This local lunch is prepared in a local home environment using traditional cooking methods, there is a variety of local foods such as Ugali, Pilau, coconut cassava and a variety of green vegetables and fresh fruits it is also a brief chance to see local homes and take pictures)
After lunch Proceed to Arusha (on the way to Arusha you can have a 1hr coffee Tour OPT)

Day 7   Arusha – Departure

After breakfast Check out of the hotel
If time allows have Arusha town tour (or go for coffee tour OPT).For your lunch you may choose to  have local lunch at a local restaurant if time allows then after lunch, go the airport and check in ready for departure back home.
