The cost of your tour includes the services mentioned in the “Inclusions” section of each web page. It mainly covers accommodation, transportation, guide service, breakfasts, sightseeing activities and some other inclusions depending on your itinerary.

What type of people travels with Kanga Adventures?
Most of our passengers Kanga Adventures tend to be between the ages of 18 and 40, but more mature travellers with a young outlook are also welcomed. The majority of Kanga Adventures are from Tanzania, Kenya, Ireland, Zanzibar and many more.
There are always single travellers on our tours. If you don’t mind being roomed with another single traveller of the same sex, then you do not need to pay the supplement. The single supplement is for travellers who would like to stay in a single room for the duration of their tour. Please note this option is not always available, especially for sailing tours. You must ask about this to our tour guide.
You are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas prior to the departure of your trip. Please consult your travel agent or visa service well in advance to determine which visas you will require and how to obtain them. Failure to obtain all necessary visas could result in you not being allowed to enter the destination and could result in considerable expenses and inconvenience. Please also remember that on some tours you will need multiple visas to enter the same country more than once. You can discuss the same to our expert.
If your tour includes arrival transfer from the airport, you will be taken to your arrival hotel or meeting point. If your tour does not include arrival transfer from the airport, the meeting points are pre-determined and made available to you in your pre-departure file and our website prior to the commencement of your tour. In the case that you miss your welcome meeting or the departure of the tour, you can keep in touch with your tour guide to amend the situation and catch up with the group.
Most of our tours include airport transfers. If stated that an arrival transfer is included, you will be picked up from the airport on the first day of your tour, at any time. You must inform our call centre of your flight details (date of flight, flight number, arrival time and name of travellers) 10 days prior to your arrival for the confirmed arrangement of your transfer. You will be picked up by a Kanga Adventures representative holding a Kanga Adventures sign at the airport. Please also check “Airport Transfer” information in the “Inclusions” section of every tour’s page. Airport transfer/s are only available if stated under the “Inclusions” section of your selected tour. Contact us for more information.

Tips are not included in the tour price and tipping is entirely at your discretion. Our Trip Details documentation includes suggested tipping amounts and these can be downloaded from each individual trip summary page.
Yes, in most cases we can arrange additional accommodation at our starting or ending hotels, excluding European tours. Please contact our expert for the price. If we are unable to provide you with the extra nights we will give you the name of a hotel you can contact directly. Please also note that extra accommodations must be booked outside of 30 days of departure.
Most of our adventures do not include airport transfers and so we recommend you arrange a taxi on arrival (this is the most economical and efficient way of getting you to your hotel). If you would prefer a pre-arranged transfer, these are usually available at an additional cost – please contact us for more information. Some of our adventures, including our “Superior” “Comfort Class”, “Independent” and “Family Adventures”, include an arrival transfer (departure transfers can be locally arranged at additional cost from the finishing point hotel).
It’s extremely difficult if not impossible to join a tour after it has begun. It is possible to leave a tour early however you will be responsible for your own arrangements from the moment you decide to leave the tour. You would also be responsible for all costs associated with joining a tour late or leaving one early. If you feel this may be necessary, please contact our expert before you book your adventure.
