On this 5-day lodge safari you will visit the Tarangire and Serengeti National Park as well as the world famous Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy the beautiful scenery as you immerse in Africa’s breath-taking nature and wildlife.
Highlights:
You will be collected from the airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha (45 minutes depending on traffic jams). Depending on your arrival time, you will have an opportunity to explore the hotel grounds, go for a dip in the swimming pool or partake in any of the offered additional activities available.

Our tour sets off after breakfast, with the first stop being the town of Arusha for some last-minute purchases, before we head off on an exciting safari experience… We will travel towards the Tarangire National Park, where we stop for lunch and afterwards, our first game drive of the safari! Tarangire National Park is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of the annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebra.

After breakfast you will depart towards the Rift Valley, passing through Mto Wa Mbu and Karatu, in the cooler regions of the crater highlands. You will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop for a short look into the crater from a viewing point. Continuing your journey around the crater, you will descend the other side, enjoying your free “African massage” on the bumpy road, passing Maasai villages on your way to the Serengeti National Park. At the Naabi Hill entrance gate you can walk to a viewpoint with spectacular views across the plains of the Serengeti savannah. You will then continue towards the Seronera Area in the central part of the Serengeti. The park offers a multitude of wildlife including the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard.

We take an early breakfast at the camp and then head to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. On arrival, we go through the registration process and descend to the floor of the world’s largest unbroken caldera for the most wonderful day of game viewing. We will have lunch at the designated picnic site at the side of the hippo pool and continue with a game drive as we drive up the crater rim overnight.

After breakfast, we explore the colourful town of Mto-wa-Mbu for some last-minute pictures and curio shopping. Afterwards, we head to Arusha town and then Kilimanjaro International Airport to connect with your International flight back home. We hope to welcome you again on one of our African adventures!
